Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 29, 2026
Our aim
SettleRoute is intended to help people who have recently moved to a city, including people who may already be dealing with stress, uncertainty, or limited time. We want the website and app to be clear, readable, and usable by as many people as possible.
Accessibility approach
SettleRoute aims to follow practical accessibility principles, including readable text, clear structure, descriptive links, useful alternative text, keyboard-friendly navigation, responsive layouts, and sufficient contrast.
As the product develops, the goal is to review the website and app against recognized accessibility standards such as WCAG.
Current status
SettleRoute is currently an early Cardiff pilot. The website uses simple static pages and minimal scripts. Some accessibility testing may still be incomplete.
Known areas to keep improving
- Testing with screen readers
- Testing keyboard-only navigation across all pages
- Checking color contrast after design changes
- Reviewing app screens on small devices
- Improving wording for users with different reading levels
Feedback
If you find any part of the website or app difficult to use, please contact: feedback@settleroute.app
